Piehunter visited the National Trust’s Chartwell House today and after enjoying Churchill’s stunning grounds in the sunshine, was delighted to find a chicken and ham pie on the menu at the restaurant.

Mrs Piehunter quickly ordered four portions of pie for the party, served with vegetables and new potatoes.  It was an extremely tasty pie, good value and won full marks for flavour and quality of the meat. Piehunter Jnr was even tempted to gnaw on a pie crust.
