For “P” the team returned to South America and deepest darkest Peru. Casita Andina in Soho is a recent expansion of popular Andina in Shoreditch.

Andina gets full marks for drinks with Pisco Sours reportedly as good as any the Peruvian veteran on the team has had and a good beer selection.
Some delicious snacks (pork and liver croquetas, avocado fritters) were followed by a couple of plates of ceviche that were a bit tasteless and the only disappointment of the night. Mains were excellent, including duck legs, hake and potentially risky lamb sweetbreads. Piehunter has suffered from disappointing desserts on its world tour but Peru fully delivered with a fantastic dulce de leche mousse and a Choco Sauco that the team devoured.

Andina is a busy spot with good service and some really great dishes. Prices as you’d expect for Soho and with small plates that always rack up the bill.
